Clinton Public Schools
Press Release
June 29, 2026 - For Immediate Release
From: Steven C. Meyer, Ed.D. - Superintendent
Re: Administrative Changes for the 2026-2027 School Year
Clinton Public Schools will be making some administrative changes for the 2026-2027 school year
following the resignation of Clinton Middle School Principal, Tyler Steffey.
Mr. Steffey informed the district that he will be resigning from Clinton Public Schools in order to
pursue other opportunities that will allow him to better focus on his family. I have accepted Mr. Steffey’s
resignation, and I wish him well in his future endeavors. Mr. Steffey will be working with the district
throughout the remainder of the summer to support the start of the next school year.
With this in mind, the Clinton Public School administrative team has worked collaboratively to
develop a plan that leverages the strengths of each administrator in an effort to support all learners across the
district. For the 2026-2027 school year, the following administrative changes will be implemented.
Meghan Frisch, the current Clinton Elementary School Principal, will be the Interim Clinton Middle
School Principal. As we look forward to the 2027-2028 school year and bringing grade 4 to the middle
school, having the opportunity to move an experienced principal into the CMS Principal position is key to
ensuring a successful opening of the new building.
Alyssa Piermarini, the recently hired Clinton Middle School Assistant Principal and former Clinton
Elementary Assistant Principal will be moving back to Clinton Elementary School. Mrs. Piermarini and
current Clinton Elementary School Assistant Principal, Courtney Noll, will be the Interim Co-Principals of
Clinton Elementary School.
Finally, Kate Moran, currently the Interim Assistant Principal of Clinton Elementary School, will be
following Mrs. Frisch to Clinton Middle School as the Interim Clinton Middle School Assistant Principal.
Prior to this year, Ms. Moran was an ESL teacher at Clinton Middle School. She will also maintain her role
of District EL Coordinator.
As we continue to sort out these changes, and the anticipated cost savings, it is likely that there could
be a few additional changes as we look to begin implementing the administrative structure that is anticipated
to be needed when the new building opens.
These changes will be reviewed at the Clinton School Committee Meeting on Monday, July 13, 2026.
