Re: Additional Administrative Changes for the 2026-2027 School Year
Following the July 13, 2026 School Committee meeting, Clinton Public Schools will be making another administrative change for the 2026-2027 School Year.
Due to the grade 4 through 8 configuration that will go into effect in the Fall of 2027 at Clinton Middle School and the budgetary savings from recent personnel changes, I have appointed Mike Notaro to be an Interim Assistant Principal at Clinton Middle School for the 2026-2027 School Year. Mr. Notaro will join Principal Frisch and Assistant Principal Moran to round out the administrative team at CMS for the 2026-2027 school year.
Mr. Notaro has been an eighth grade English Teacher and eighth grade class advisor for many years. Additionally, he served three years as the Dean of Students before the position was eliminated from the budget.
The transition to the new school will be a major reconfiguration for the entire district and will require establishing protocols and procedures for all aspects of the school day. The purpose of adding this position now, rather than wait until the fall of 2027, is to proactively support the moving and planning process in order to ensure a smooth transition.
I have tremendous confidence in the new CMS administrative team, and I look forward to a successful 2026-2027 school year.
